Dental Hygienist

Smile L.A. Downtown Modern Dentistry is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our modern, high-energy practice. Hygienists enjoy cutting-edge technology and a patient-centered, collaborative environment. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Provide high-quality dental hygiene care: prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing Conduct thorough oral health assessments and screenings Take and develop dental x-rays Use iTero scanners for digital impressions and patient education Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care strategies Review and update patient medical histories and records Collaborate with dentists and the dental team for comprehensive care Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards Required Qualifications Active California RDH license in good standing CPR/BLS certification required Dental office experience preferred; new graduates encouraged Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and patient-first mindset Team-oriented, professional, and reliable Preferred Qualifications Experience with iTero scanners and digital dental tools Experience in high-volume or multi-provider offices Additional training or certifications in periodontal or cosmetic procedures MNSTRaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
