How You Will Make An Impact (Job Summary)

As a Tester, you will work as a team in the final inspection of finished goods. The Tester is a cross functional role that may test, inspect, package, and crate completed fans to meet on time delivery and exceed customer satisfaction.

What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)

  • Safety: Follow all safety rules and adhere to the core values of the business; maintain general work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition; perform preventative maintenance on equipment; ensure proper and effective operation of machines and tools; report repairs and issues to the team lead or supervisor.
  • Delivery: Conduct vibration testing for Division 2 industrial fans; mount fan on test block or suitable fixture for temporary electrical hookup; accurately monitor and record vibrations; complete corrective actions to meet production standards; advance completed components to the appropriate staging area for next steps to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Quality: Review orders to confirm materials and proper assembly; monitor quality of own work and report defective material or unusual conditions to the supervisor; refer test/procedure issues to the department supervisor; ensure all parts and surfaces are free from defects; accurately document work performed per defined procedure; complete tasks within the designed time frame and quality guidelines.
  • Culture: Be a team player, assist other team members and departments as needed, be punctual and ready to work the designated shift every day.

Required Experience

  • One year in a manufacturing environment

  • Excellent attendance

  • Prior understanding of electricity and assembly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate data and information
  • Desire and ability to follow safety instructions

Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
