Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a Class A CDL team on dedicated FedEx Ground routes in Sacramento/Tracy, CA.
• Team-up with a safe, experienced driver if you do not already have a partner.
• Perform drop and hook operations with no freight to touch.
• Work on floater shifts with a flexible schedule; opportunities for part-time or full-time status.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: $3,000 sign-on bonus paid over 90 days.
• Weekly pay with Direct Deposit every Friday.
• Detention pay when applicable.
• Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
• One week of vacation pay after one year, with progression over years of service.
• Monthly cell phone payment available.

Requirements

• Doubles / Triples endorsement required; no Hazmat required.
• One year minimum tractor-trailer experience or graduation from an accredited truck driving school.
• Graduates from FedEx Ground approved, accredited driving schools are welcome; tuition reimbursement may be available. Brand-new drivers are paid the same as experienced drivers with no training pay deductions.
• Minimum endorsements and licensing as described; no HazMat endoresement necessary.
