Territory Manager – Responsibilities

  • Driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts
  • Demonstrate outstanding product knowledge, understanding of related clinical data, competitive product knowledge, and overall industry trends
  • Cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships to increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography
  • Apply working knowledge of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks
  • Identify possible solutions to technical problems and take corrective actions
  • Exercise judgment within defined parameters; work is reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy
  • Receive general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects
  • Conduct consultative sales calls on Interventional Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Neuro Interventionalists and Vascular Surgeons; support their needs in the lab
  • Partner with Cordis leadership, cross-functional teams, and field-based counterparts (Regional Directors, Associate Territory Managers, CET Team, Marketing Product Managers, Key Account Directors, Sr. Leaders, etc.)
  • Provide customer feedback, competitive intel, environmental shifts, and other industry learnings to aid Sales/Marketing and cross-functional leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree or 4+ years of related work experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferred
  • 2+ years of selling medical supplies and devices with a medium-length sales cycle
  • Familiar with PC applications and MS Office
  • Virtual meeting software proficiency
  • Ability to travel; must live within the territory and be willing to travel to hit objectives
  • Valid Driver’s License
