Hiring for Monday - Friday First and Second Shifts. Starting Pay $18.75 to $21.50 depending on experience and shift. $1.75 Shift differential for Nights.

Location: Denton Cold Creek, 6651 N. Interstate 35, Denton, TX. 76207
Responsibilities
- Shipping and Receiving: Unload and load trailers and verify proper stacking and freight not being mixed on pallets; place one item per pallet as required unless instructed otherwise. Tape or stretch-wrap pallets as required to ensure product stability.
- Checking: Before product storage, count all product, compare counts to drivers’ manifests, and check shipments for damage, infestation and production code dates. Report shortages, damages and misplacements to your supervisor. Move product to storage locations and stack/store appropriately. Verify receipt of product at the correct temperature.
- Over, Short, and Damage: Identify and recover any received or shipping damage as per company policy. Report shortages and overages to your area supervisor.
- Inventory: Assist in physical inventories with scanners if needed. Ensure proper stock rotation by following lot number identification.
- Order Picking: Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is located and shipped. Confirm product from correct locations and lot numbers match picking documents. Perform picking efficiently to meet customer service standards. Pallet heights can reach up to seven feet.
- Loading: Move product from staging or storage areas into railcars or trailers.
- Equipment: Load, unload, move, stack and stage product using a forklift, clamp truck, slip-sheet or other power equipment. Maintain facilities, equipment and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion. Perform daily inspections and verify equipment operates properly before the day begins. Notify supervisor of any problems. Operate equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed methods.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience
- Previous high-reach forklift and/or warehouse training
Other Abilities You Will Need To Have
- Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Lift up to 70 lbs with assistance occasionally
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
- Speak and hear for safety and productivity
- Use scanners, tablets, radios, phones, and other warehouse machinery
- Ability to lift overhead
- Ability to work overtime as an essential part of this position
- Drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements
- Have acceptable and/or correctable vision
- Work in an environment with temperatures ranging from +34 to -10 degrees F with moderate noise
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good arithmetic and reading skills
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions and company policies
- Self-starter who can work independently and coordinate with others
- Work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress and productivity guidelines
