We’re looking for a talented Marketing Manager who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and take our sales to the next level.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role perfect for a well-rounded marketer who’s excited to work across marketing strategy; pricing / merchandising; vendor negotiations and weekly promotions / discounts; loyalty program management (weekly emails, SMS), in-store signage, social media, and community outreach. You’ll collaborate closely with the operations and purchasing teams, execute campaigns, and help shape the voice of our brand — with the support of leadership. We are looking for someone creative, flexible, and who has a collaborative approach.
Responsibilities
- Work with VP of Operations to set marketing strategy and develop marketing campaigns to maximize store traffic / revenue
- Plan and execute weekly promotional campaigns across email, SMS, and in-store
- Work closely with VP of Operations to negotiate all pricing, promotions and discounts with vendors
- Plan and manage the weekly marketing calendar (i.e. weekly promotions and discounts) and ensure all promotions go out on time
- Manage loyalty program, including build and send emails / SMS messages using Alpine IQ (training available)
- Plan and manage all social media
- Manage in-store signage (digital and non-digital)
- Plan and manage all community outreach
- Manage digital ad strategy, including SEO and paid search
- Write compelling, on-brand copy for marketing assets and social posts
- Collaborate with store managers and vendors to support local promotions and events
- Report on campaign performance and share learnings with leadership
- Perform analytics across all efforts (loyalty, pricing, discounts, promotions, etc) in an effort to continually dial-in / improve marketing effectiveness
- Maintain brand consistency across channels (including app, menus, and signage)
- Manage customer reviews (mainly google) and manage / respond to all inbound email messages
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of marketing experience, preferably in retail / restaurants, CPG, or cannabis
- Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Alpine IQ, Klaviyo, or similar)
- Canva or basic graphic design skills a plus
- Experience with using Excel for analytics a plus
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for cannabis and community-driven brands
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel to Addison and Wheeling, IL
