Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead and manage all aspects of HR operations for our organization based in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, deep knowledge of employment law, and proven experience working with bilingual workforces. This role requires a hands-on leader who can develop and execute human resource strategies that support organizational goals, enhance employee engagement, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all core HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on HR matters, workforce planning, and organizational development
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on company policies, HR procedures, and employee concerns
- Develop and implement HR strategies that promote an inclusive and productive work environment across all departments
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations (federal, state, and local)
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and drive continuous improvement in company culture and retention
- Manage bilingual communications and HR documentation to ensure accessibility for all employees
- Oversee onboarding, training, and development programs for a diverse and multilingual workforce
- Maintain and improve HRIS systems, tracking employee data, performance metrics, and compliance requirements
- Investigate and resolve employee relations issues in a timely, fair, and consistent manner
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal communication)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
- Proven experience managing HR operations in a fast-paced, diverse environment
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and drive change at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar HR certification
