Exciting Opportunity at Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel! As the Director of Human Resources, you will report to the Hotel General Manager and function as an essential strategic partner, shaping the culture by collaborating with leaders and infusing the Saint Kate brand into every aspect of HR, while fostering unity among our associates. This role serves as a key member of our Executive Committee, ensuring your voice is heard at the highest level.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all areas of Human Resources, including associate relations, recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits, leave management, workers’ compensation, policy compliance, culture building, and community involvement.
- Recommend, evaluate and participate in training and development programs, and stay current with industry trends to make necessary recommendations.
- Oversee and direct the recruitment lifecycle for all departments and personnel.
- Ensure communication of and compliance with all policies, standards and practices, as well as federal, state and local employment laws.
- Provide guidance on associate relations, including investigations, coaching, counseling, and policy enforcement.
- Lead annual goal setting, performance reviews, compensation adjustments, and bonus programs.
- Develop and manage the annual department budget and ensure effective expense controls.
- Champion associate engagement and recognition initiatives, including service excellence programs and cross-departmental appreciation.
- Oversee HR responsibilities for the newly opened River Center Market and Upper Bar located within the same complex.
What should you bring to the role?
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field
- 6 plus years of total HR experience, including responsibility for talent acquisition, associate relations, training, benefits, etc.
- 3 years or more of proven HR leadership experience, preferably in a hotel, resort or hospitality setting
- Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, written, consulting, and coaching abilities; able to influence at all organizational levels.
- High degree of organization, accuracy with numbers, and experience creating and managing budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Proficiency with HR systems and technology; experience with PeopleSoft and/or Taleo is a plus; willingness to learn and embrace new technologies.
