At Zurich Capability Center, we are looking for a:
MuleSoft Developer
Specific duties include:
- Working closely with the Business, other application teams, and the Integration Architect to understand Zurichs business/application needs.
- Creating and supporting APIs for ZNAs mobile applications.
- Understanding Business Requirements, performing impact analysis, and assessing technical challenges/feasibility in achieving required business outcomes.
- Developing APIs using MuleSoft platform components including API Manager, CloudHub, Anypoint Studio, and Anypoint MQ.
- Testing and improving the performance of APIs in terms of response time, reliability, and resource usage.
- Troubleshooting complex production issues with APIs, identifying sources of issues, and collaborating with teams to resolve them.
- Serving as a technical lead on projects to design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust integration solutions on the MuleSoft platform.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 7+ years of experience in Application Design and Development, OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9+ years of experience in Application Design and Development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MuleSoft Developer certification is preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience with:
- MuleSoft API development, CloudHub, and RTF environments.
- Service design using RAML (with JSON) and ODATA.
- Integration architecture principles and patterns, including API, SOA, Batch Integration, and RESTful JSON services.
- Cloud technologies and integrations with Azure.
- Proficiency in Java (OpenJDK).
- Object-Oriented Programming principles.
- Converting APIs from SOAP to REST.
- Using OpenAPI Specification (Swagger) for API documentation.
- Understanding JSON, XML, and data serialization/deserialization.
- SQL query optimization and database design, with experience in MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or DB2.
- Version control using GitHub.
- API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger UI.
- Build tools such as Eclipse.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience containerizing APIs using Docker.
- Addressing code vulnerabilities using tools like Veracode or SonarQube.
