Our team is mainly based in the San Jose Bay Area, with a strong team culture. We are on the lookout for a Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team, as we embark on building the future of Adobe Home web, growing from millions to 10s of millions of users! What you'll do
Work with QE peers, product managers, developers, and designers in defining and testing features in a fast-paced and agile environment.
Build feature & workflow test strategies, and perform testing using a variety of testing tools. Becoming an authority in web application testing features.
Lead or follow various team initiatives to help evolve and drive software quality and delivery process improvements.
Ensure a polished UI/UX experience across browsers on desktops (Windows & Mac) and Mobile Web.
Acting as gatekeeper to release features on production and defect management.
Working with remote team members across different time zones (requiring engagement approximately 3-4 times per week for feature and bug fix deployment management), to contribute to the definition and rigorous testing of innovative features from concept to release.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of 5 years of confirmed experience in testing and deploying production web applications or interactive websites.
Problem solvers grasp how customers interact with our software features and translate those insights into issues, tasks, and topics for conversation. Strong in verbal and written communication.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Willingness to coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure accurate workflows throughout the entire application & eco-system experience.
Expertise with agile software development methodologies.
Bonus Qualifications
Experienced with Adobe flagship products such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express etc.
Experienced with programming skills like Playwright, HTML5, CSS, CSS4.
Experienced with programming languages like TypeScript, JavaScript.
Experienced with automation-related tooling such as Selenium, Jenkin, and Splunk.
Experienced with GenAI, web technologies.
Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development practices.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $109,000 -- $215,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
