Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Lighting Field Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support to customers.
Interpret wiring diagrams to assist in the installation and maintenance of lighting control systems.
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on lighting systems, as well as respond to emergency calls.
Assemble, configure, and design graphical user interfaces for lighting control equipment.
Document service-related activities, including billing details and training reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including high voltage safety.
Familiarity with lighting control protocols (e.g., DMX, RDM, sACN) and proficiency in soldering.
Ability to travel overnight and work collaboratively with contractors and clients.
Technical degree in Theatrical, Film, or Broadcast fields or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to travel to multiple job sites, potentially over multiple days.
Capable of lifting up to 70lbs and standing for extended periods on construction sites.
Ability to work safely at heights and navigate challenging site conditions.
