Travel REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year Traveler Experience: 1st timers are accepted Locals accepted (Y/N): No, must be >50 miles Scrubs: any solid color Skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Post MI, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, Renal failure, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Thrombolytic Agents, Titrate Cardiac drips, CVA, Seizure disorders, Substance Withdrawal, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Traction, Mastectomy, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: PALS, TCAR JOB DETAILS: Ratios: 1: 3-5 for days and weekends; 1:3-6 for nights Shift: Nights; 36 or 48s RTO: 7 days MAX Float Requirement: Yes Weekend Requirement: Every other Float: may be floated to the corresponding sister units. West 2, West 3, and Observation unit are all sister units. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: PCU and MS Tele, Surgical pre and post; ENT, general Surgery, Trauma surgery, Ortho surgery. Overflow medical diagnosis patients. Rare Pediatric patient, Travelers not assigned unless experienced. SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: TCAR preferred SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Mixed acuity unit PCU, MS Tele and MS pts; REQUIRED: must have PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years. Ratios adjusted by acuity.
