Job Summary
The role of the Inventory Coordinator is to ensure inventory levels for all items in the branches assigned to the individual, are maintained at acceptable levels, while minimizing supply chain costs to achieve fill rate standards. Deliver timely and accurate inventory and adjustment records to support an order and shipping index that exceeds customer expectations. Other responsibilities will include recording purchases, maintaining databases, performs physical count of inventory, cycle count and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports. Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods, re-stocks items as necessary. Candidate will safely operate a forklift 50% of the time.
Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Control
Coordinates the Cycle Counting of inventory and is primary driver of CC programs. Investigates inventory discrepancies when prompted by stakeholders. Performs audits and verifications of production inventory and reporting. Inventory investigation and reconciliation through transaction audits and physical counts. Coordinates inventory adjustments with accounting. Developments related SOPs and WIs for Inventory Control that align with the QA system. Checks, verifications, and general support of the WMS. (Warehouse Management System) Receiving
Coordinates the check-in and unloading of plantwide delivery arrivals. Performs count verifications to ensure receiving accuracy against packing slip. Performs conformance checks as defined in QA system. Enters all received goods into the ERP system. (IQMS) Notifies stakeholders of arrivals and deliveries. Brings product to appointed areas and locations as defined in the WMS. Education
High School Diploma or equivalent Relevant Work Experience
At least 2 years related experience with Supply Planning, Materials Requirements Planning or related field Experience using inventory or supply planning systems Knowledge/Skill/Abilities
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft business products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, others) Ability to analyze data and clearly communicate results and recommended actions to various different levels of the organization Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders with differing opinions, and balance trade-offs while focusing on results Compensation details:
