Job Summary and Responsibilities Incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Staff Nurse and/or licensed medical practitioner in caring for the clinical patient and providing the best possible individualized nursing care in a timely manner with emphasis on cost containment.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Job Requirements

(1) year experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient medical office, physician clinic or OB Office setting. (If operational conditions exist and no qualified candidates apply, the employer may consider a combination of education, experience and skill in lieu of the (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant).

AHA BLS

Medical terminology, ability to clearly communicate and understand English

PREFERRED:

(2) years experience in a clinical setting

Associates degree in a related field

Medical Assistant certification
