The Pier 2 Roller Rink at Brooklyn Bridge Park is now open for the season! Offering stunning views of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty, this premier roller-skating rink is a unique attraction drawing both locals and tourists. We are looking for enthusiastic part-time associates to join our team.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities of a General Associate:

• Provide a clean, fun, friendly, and safe experience for all guests.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.
• Enforce rink rules in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ensure the safety of skaters by being aware of potential hazards.
• Depending on your assignment, additional duties may include:
• Communicating session times, pricing, and promotions.
• Ensuring all skating adults complete a waiver upon entry.
• Administering the skate rental process.
• Encouraging guests to sign up for marketing emails.
• Distributing rental skates and inspecting skates brought by guests.
• Communicating any issues or safety concerns to the session manager.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Additional Information

• Flexible part-time schedules with availability required for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• We are also hiring skilled skaters for floor guard positions! If you own skates, please bring them along.
• Location: Pier 2 Roller Skating Rink, Brooklyn Bridge Park, 150 Furman Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 (Located towards the back of the pier, next to the basketball courts and behind the restrooms).
• Hours: Part-time, 10 to 25 hours per week.
• Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Job Requirements

• Basic math skills (1 year preferred).
• Availability to work day and night shifts as needed.
