Schedule: Part time; days may vary, 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. Must be able to work rotating weekends. More details upon interview.

Pay: Fixed rate $17.00 per hour.

Requirement: Healthcare food service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared items.
• Maintains records from area worked during service and follows established ticket procedures.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving; stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record-keeping and reporting as required; assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies.
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs duties safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment; follows HACCP standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned; adheres to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Healthcare food service experience required.
• Ability to work a part-time schedule with rotating weekends.
