Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Production Planner you'll play a major role on our Repair Station Team.
This position contributes to our vision by: Analyzes customer independent demand and assists in developing repair schedules accordingly. Synchronizes supply plans per demand to ensure smooth flow of material while maintaining optimum inventory levels. Collaborate with cross functional groups, such as Procurement and Production, to expedite orders or resolve issues that might potentially impact our turnaround times delivery. Plan and coordinate material transfers to support our after-market business. Participate in meetings to discuss weekly/daily schedules, material shortages and priorities for repair. Assist in the establishing bill of material effectivities. Investigate and analyze root cause of planning issues. Interface with Customer Service Representatives (CSR's) regarding lead times, status and commitments. Work with Coordinators to prioritize repair orders and expedite critical parts on the shop floor. Closely interact with Procurement to help expedite critical parts. Work with other personnel in cross-functional process improvement teams for specified tasks assigned by management. Other duties as assigned.

The expected salary range for this position is between $22.14/hr - $34.79/hr USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
Candidate skills & requirements
Qualifications: Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic. Thorough understanding of operational concepts surrounding MRO planning, inventory control, purchasing, stockroom operations and shipping/receiving. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and take initiative. Ability to direct and lead cross-functional process improvement teams. Ability to operate PC with knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software packages. Strong oral, written communication and analytical skills.
