Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts) • Full-time position with 5-day work schedule • Administer radiation therapy treatments and simulation in accordance with radiation oncologist prescriptions • Must have ARRT (T) registration and current Medical Radiologic Technologist certificate with Texas Medical Board • Current BLS certification (AHA only) required • Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiation Therapy Technology required • Minimum one year experience in hospital or treatment center environment preferred • Must maintain accurate scheduling and see patients on or before appointed times • Prepare rooms and equipment for procedures and maintain safe, clean environment • Assist in treatment planning procedures including tumor localization and dosimetry • Perform accurate documentation and record keeping • Conduct weekly chart checks and rotate responsibilities with partner • Report treatment variations and equipment issues to appropriate personnel • Observe radiation safety measures for patients and personnel • Basic computer knowledge required • Strong verbal and written communication skills essential Facility: This healthcare organization is a comprehensive health system providing advanced oncology services including radiation therapy treatments.
