Responsibilities :
Participates and practices Lean Manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma, 5S, FMEA, and 8D Problem Analysis.
Engages the team in identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects.
Responsible for taking a major role with plant safety initiatives.
Reviews and updates Key Performance Indicators KPIs (Daily, Weekly and Monthly) to ensure facility is on track.
Attends pre-shift meetings to observe and provide feedback to the operations team focusing on continuous improvement.
Conducts Behavior-Based Safety observations and works with employees to ensure they are performing their job in a safe manner.
Participates in monthly site safety review to understand problem areas and establish plans to improve overall safety record and reduce incidents.
Maintaining records and ensuring compliance with all capital projects.
Maintaining plant property, building and grounds.
Maintain facilities cleanliness of non-production areas by overseeing Janitorial department.
Project Management
Operational Excellence lead- drive implementation of EIP approved projects.
Responsible for all mold repairs, PMs, shipping receiving, and mold changes.
Associate attendance, payroll, and PTO.
Maintenance Manager backup and assist in overall development of maintenance team.
Requirements : Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management and 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Management experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement roles including managing teams of people. Previous experience working in a Lean environment; Embraces continuous improvement. Strong financial acumen including an understanding of the budgeting process and how they relate to KPIs. Exceptional leadership, change management and communication skills. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
