Overview

Sales Development Associate- Atlanta, GA at Raymond James. Supports financial advisors with economic, financial or statistical research, analysis, and marketing strategies for development of business strategies and tactics to help new and existing Financial Advisors meet sales goals. Assists by developing client pipelines through prospecting, networking, community involvement, centers of influence with high levels of communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; use standard materials to present to the customer; ask relevant questions to evaluate the customer’s level of interest and identify areas requiring further information or explanation.
  • Make calls (by telephone or in person) to allocated customers to develop new relationships. Act as a first point of contact for resolving customer queries and complaints.
  • Schedule follow-up actions and enter relevant information into the CRM after each contact to create a call plan and ensure quality data for customer retention and business development activities.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing relationships. Act as a first point of contact for resolving customer queries and complaints.
  • Develop knowledge of organizational policies and relevant regulatory codes and conduct to ensure work adheres to standards. Obtain supervisor authorization for any exceptions from mandatory procedures.
  • Develop capabilities through assessment, development planning activities, training and coaching. Maintain understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices.
  • Identify potential customers by obtaining information, referrals, and recommendations from existing customers.
  • Identify products or services that best meet customer needs, explain the selection, and invite the customer to purchase at standard terms of sale.
  • Deliver routine support services using business development systems and protocols designed to create long-term value for the organization and its customers, markets, and relationships.

Bachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Finance

S7 - General Securities Representative Examination - FINRA; Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) - FINRA
