A warm and welcoming Austin family is seeking a part-time nanny to care for their 3-year-old daughter and newborn. This role is ideal for a nurturing, communicative caregiver who enjoys engaging toddlers and supporting infants in their early development.
Schedule & Compensation
Monday–Friday, 12:00–5:00pm
Flexibility for occasional weekend support is a plus
Competitive rate: $30–35/hour
Placement: 6 months – 1 year
Responsibilities
Provide loving care for a toddler and infant
Support infant routines (tummy time, feeding, soothing, naps)
Engage toddler in age-appropriate play and activities; support with sibling transition
Light household help (tidying, prepping simple dinners) — no deep cleaning
Collaborate with mom, who will often be at home and actively involved
Requirements:
Preference for Montessori-inspired care; toddler attends Spanish immersion (bilingual a plus, but not required)
Vehicle helpful for future transport needs, though primary focus is in-home care
Toddler has shown growth with separation anxiety and responds well to caregivers outside of mom
Family values teamwork and open communication — nanny should feel comfortable working alongside an involved parent
Must be CPR/ First Aid Certified
