Position Overview:

TheMaintenance Mechanicsupports plant operations bymaintainingplant equipment of the respective business unittomeet and/or exceed the business unit’s goals andobjectivesin safety, quality, productivity,efficiency,and customer service.TheMaintenance Mechanicensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completingpreventative &corrective maintenance requirements onvarious typesof industrial equipment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Adheringto safety, health, and environmental(SHE)standards and policies by taking personal responsibilitytoprevent injury/illnessto oneself & othersfrom exposure to hazards.Following allpermitproceduresincluding but not limited tolock-out/tag-out,confined space, arc flashand work at heightsas required.
• Utilizingcomputerizedmaintenance managementsystem(CMMS)to document maintenance activitiesincluding time spent, parts used,and description of work performed, abnormalitiesidentifiedandfollow up actionsneeded.

• Performing maintenance activities–preventative, corrective,breakdownand work ordersto improve equipment performance, reliabilityand product qualityin a timely manneras scheduledor assigned.

• Addressing and resolving any equipment and systems faults related to the ASRS, conveyors or other equipment in the Cooler Warehouse. This task is physically demanding asemployeemust climb inside the ASRS up to 10 levels high wearing the required fall protection equipment.

• Using reasoning and analysis to troubleshootequipment & parts failurestoimprove equipmentperformanceduring maintenance activities as well asbyparticipatinginfocused improvement activitiesas assigned.

• Using and cares for personal and company tools & equipment in a professional mannerbyutilizingtools & equipment as they were designed to be used.

• Maintaininga safe,cleanandorderlywork sitewhile performing maintenance activities and well asgeneralareasassigned.

• Respondingtimelyfor maintenance assistance.Coordinates withmaintenance &area owner leadership to prioritize work activities.

• Communicating with maintenance & area ownerstimelyregardingsafetyissues,qualityissuesand work completion delays.

• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

About You

EssentialSkills:

• Mechanicmustdemonstratestrongcompetency in electrical,mechanical,pneumatic&hydraulicsandbasic computer skills.

• Demonstratestheability to use powered industrial equipment. (forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack)

• Demonstratesthe ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, electrical drawings/schematics,blueprints, and procedure manuals.

• Demonstratesthe ability to write routine reports, SOP’sand correspondence as well as speak effectively to employees and customers.

• Demonstratesstrongproblem-solvingand reasoningskills andtheability tounderstandandexecute frominstructions.

• Demonstratesmathematical skills to calculate, compute, resolve, interpret, andto formulate forproblem solving. Thorough understanding of mechanicalprocedures asrelated to manufacturing maintenance applications.

• Maintains astrong knowledge of machine functions, equipment safety hazards, power source, stored energy, pinch points, andpossessesexperienced welding skills.

• Understandsanddemonstratesmaintenancefood safetytechniquesto ensure product qualitywhile performing maintenance activities.Responsible for meeting or exceeding all established quality standards

• Completesallappropriateassignedsafety,healthandenvironmental trainingin a timely manner

• Responsible for ensuring personal compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.

• Demonstratestheability to work with minimal supervisionto complete maintenanceactivities timely.

• Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change,delays,or unexpected events.

• Within the scope of the job requirements,willberequiredtoadhereandcomply withstate and federal law, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required
