Overview

Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift: Part Time, Tue-Fri 6:00am-1:00pm, Saturday 7:00am-2:00pm

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate company vehicles for delivery and pick-up of packages
• Ensure shipments conform to FedEx service standards and provide related customer service
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills; neat appearance required due to customer contact
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations; non-covered safety-sensitive position
• Ability to work with a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to inquiries per FMCSA guidance
