Job Title: Industrial Electrician | Location: New York, various cities | Contract Length: 6 Months | Pay Rate: Dependent on Experience | Start Date: ASAP

Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician for a 6-month contract to support ongoing maintenance and installation work in a busy industrial environment. The successful candidate will diagnose and repair electrical faults, with a focus on conveyor systems and associated control equipment. This is a contractor position (1099) for experienced electricians who can work independently in fast-paced industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in industrial systems and equipment
• Perform maintenance and installation work on conveyor systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Work with motors, control panels, sensors, and industrial wiring
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and site safety standards
• Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure minimal downtime and safe operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial or maintenance electrician
• Experience with conveyor systems is essential
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of 3-phase systems
• Ability to work independently and maintain safe work practices
• Valid electrician license
• Own tools, PPE, and reliable transportation
• Must be US Citizen to apply
