Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse to join our team in Norfolk, VA. In this role, you will prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are medically ready, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns. Key Responsibilities of the Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care in the Electrophysiology Lab. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on individual patient needs and EP procedures. - Monitor patients during EP procedures using advanced medical equipment and technology. - Administer medications and intravenous therapies as ordered by the physician, ensuring safe and correct dosage. - Assist with EP studies, mapping, ablations, device implants, and other interventional cardiac procedures. - Perform patient education regarding EP procedures, post-operative care, and medication management. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, treatment plans, and progress reports. - Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations. - Continually update knowledge and skills related to EP Lab procedures and technological advancements.
Requirements for the Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse Role BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications (required). VA RN License (required). 2+ years of experience in Electrophysiology Lab nursing or a similar role.
