seeking a dedicated and experienced

ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

to join our dynamic team at a Level 1 Trauma Center. This role is ideal for nurses with a strong background in critical care who are adaptable, compassionate, and ready to float between high-acuity units as needed. Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a variety of ICU settings. Float between ICU units including

Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, and Neuro ICU . When required, provide support to

Medical-Surgical (MS)

units within RN scope of practice. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation using

Cerner

EMR system. Schedule & Shift Details:

5 days RTO , with

Cook County Health is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY. ICU RNs must be willing to float between ICU units as well as Medical-Surgical units when required, based on facility needs and at management discretion. Qualifications:

Required Experience: Minimum of

2 years recent acute care ICU experience Required Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) Licensure: Active RN license required at time of submission Pending licenses not accepted Locals: Locals accepted and preferred Must live

within 75 miles
