Annual Salary: $130k $180k (varies depending on years of experience)
A pediatric long-term care and rehabilitation facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced advanced practice provider to join a multidisciplinary team caring for children and young adults with complex medical needs. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly supportive, collaborative environment where you ll provide both primary and acute care services to medically fragile patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services for pediatric residents
- Conduct assessments for acute illnesses or changes in medical status
- Prescribe, manage, and monitor medications
- Respond to emergencies and provide urgent care interventions as needed
- Evaluate diagnostic and lab results, documenting treatment plans and next steps
- Coordinate transfers to acute care hospitals, including communication with emergency departments and written consults
Qualifications:
- Board-certified Pediatric NP, Family NP with pediatric background, or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 1 2 years of prior NP/PA experience (new graduates will not be considered)
- Previous experience working with medically fragile pediatric patients (PICU, NICU, ICU strongly preferred)
- Candidates with outpatient pediatric experience may be considered if they have prior critical care training
