About The Position Weekend Cardiovascular Surgery Call in Texas - IMLC Eligible A respected Level 2 trauma center in Texas has an ongoing locums need for a Cardiovascular Surgeon to provide weekend call coverage. This is a great opportunity for supplemental work that fits around your existing schedule.
Highlights Weekend-only assignment, just 1-2 weekends per month Ongoing need provides consistent, long-term coverage options Open to IMLC Physicians Malpractice insurance is included for the duration of the assignment Practice Setting Inpatient coverage at a Level 2 trauma center Practice supported by 2 PAs/NPs Patient population is adult Schedule 24-hour call coverage Flexible scheduling, choose the weekends that work for you Friday through Sunday shifts Procedures and Cases General Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgery IP call cases Coronary artery bypass surgery, on and off pump Bypass procedures including aorto femoral/iliac and fem-pop Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery Active ATLS certification Minimum of 24 months of recent experience Credentialing Requirements Requires an active Texas license or IMLC Letter of Qualification Credentialing support is provided The process takes approximately 60 days to complete Travel accommodations All travel and lodging are provided for this assignment Interested in learning more about this opportunity?
