Pride Health is hiring a Float Phlebotomist III to support our client’s medical facility, based in Frederick, MD.

Title: Float Phlebotomist III
Location: Frederick, MD 21702
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-5:30 PM (40hrs/week)
Pay Range: $19.85 - $21.79 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled and accurate blood draws while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding of procedures.
- Provide phlebotomy coverage across multiple locations and settings, including patient service centers, in-office, mobile, and long-term care environments.
- Lead daily site operations when needed, supporting and guiding phlebotomy staff, and serving as the on-site point of contact.
- Act as a mentor, coach, and trainer for new employees, supporting onboarding and ensuring adherence to procedures and service standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Lab Services, IT, Billing, Logistics) to support high-volume or specialty practices with complex needs.
- Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a high-volume environment, maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.
Experience:
- Five years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
- Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience.
