Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Tuscaloosa, AL! This is a 4 months contract role (with high possibility of extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Phlebotomist II
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL 35406
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $18.80 - 21.30/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily activities accurately, efficiently, and on time under supervisor direction.
- Maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing confidently.
- Verify patient demographic information and confirm labeling accuracy in the patient’s presence.
- Maintain required records and documentation.
- Promote a positive image of Quest Diagnostics to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
- Travel and provide coverage at multiple sites as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
