Join Pride Health as a Entry-Level Phlebotomist I at Tampa, FL! This is a 6 months contract role (with possible extension) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Entry-Level Phlebotomist I
Location: Tampa, FL 33626
Shift Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $17.75/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly, assist with check-ins via self-service kiosks or handheld tablets, and address questions with care and compassion.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and organized waiting area.
- Assist with workflow during staff breaks and support front-of-house operations.
- Actively participate in Phlebotomy training to develop specimen collection skills.
- Once trained, perform phlebotomy confidently and accurately following established procedures.
- Accurately maintain patient records and documentation.
- Promote a positive image of Quest Diagnostics while upholding confidentiality and patient trust.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience (retail, home health aide, hospitality, etc.).
- Willingness to learn Phlebotomy—candidates only seeking a front desk role will not be considered.
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
