Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in Boynton Beach FL 33437 This is a 6-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Boynton Beach FL 33437
Pay Range: $17- $19 per hour (strictly depends on years of experience)
Schedule: 6:30am-3:30pm
Duration: 6 Months+

Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients upon arrival and provide clear, compassionate assistance with check-ins (via kiosk or tablet).
- Create a trusting atmosphere by explaining procedures and addressing patient questions or concerns.
- Maintain the integrity, cleanliness, and organization of the waiting area.
- Support phlebotomists during breaks and, once trained, perform specimen collection and processing with confidence and accuracy.
- Handle patient information with sensitivity, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Perform daily tasks accurately and on schedule under the direction of the area supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
- Promote a professional and positive image of the company to patients, clients, and the public.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of client-facing customer service (e.g., retail, home health aide, hospitality).
- Prior phlebotomy experience not required—training will be provided.
- Strong keyboard/data entry skills.
- Skills:
- High level of customer service—critical to this role.
- Compassionate, patient-centered communication.
- Willingness to learn and perform Phlebotomy duties.
Additional Details
- Reliable transportation to/from work is required (public transit, Uber, or rideshare is not considered reliable).
- Candidates must live within a 20–25 minute commute of the worksite.
- Must be punctual, able to stay for the full shift, and maintain excellent attendance.
- Excessive absenteeism or tardiness may result in termination.
