About The Position We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This role commences on Sep 1, 2025, and involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting On-Treatment Visits and ensuring smooth treatment delivery onsite at a healthcare facility.

Radiation Oncologist Schedule:

Responsibilities and Duties Conduct On-Treatment Visits (OTVs) primarily on Wednesdays Be present onsite during clinic hours to ensure uninterrupted patient treatments Collaborate with radiation therapists, nurses, and dosimetrists to provide safe and effective care Monitor and assess patient progress throughout the treatment week Ensure all treatments and procedures comply with facility protocols and safety standards
Additional Information Board certification in Radiation Oncology required Must possess a valid Illinois state medical license DEA and CSR licenses are mandatory Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required Proficiency with the Epic EMR system is necessary
