Excellent opportunity for an experienced ACNP/PA
to join our highly trained Cardiothoracic team. Our APP will round on patients on the hospital floor; see patients in the clinic and provide surgical first assist in the OR. Qualified candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work well within a team. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a quickly growing Cardiovascular Surgery Group who are doing remarkable things. Based out of Wyoming Medical Center, this position will help support expansion and growing market shares in Casper and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Round on hospital floor patients and see patients in the clinic
Provide surgical first assist in the operating room
Qualifications
1 - 2 years' Cardio-Thoracic surgical experience required including endo vein harvesting
PA-C or ACNP with RNFA certificate at the time of application
Documentation of successful completion of surgical first assistant training as part of the curriculum in their nationally accredited nurse practitioner program or attendance at a surgical first assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee
Licensed in Wyoming or eligible for licensure
DEA with prescriptive authority
ACLS/BLS
Full-time | 40 hr. per week with schedule flexibility
