About the Pediatric Cardiology - Advanced Cardiac Imaging Position

The Dell Medical School at UT Austin and Dell Children\'s Medical Center (DCMC) are seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist with additional fellowship training in advanced cardiac imaging to support the TCPCHD. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, leadership, and innovation alongside our team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers. Education and research are encouraged and supported with access to dedicated research professionals, including a statistician, research manager, and coordinators. Our practice is located in central Austin with inpatient and outpatient support for central Texas and beyond. The position encompasses responsibilities in patient care, program development, team building, safety, quality, and access for imaging services. This role will work with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and TCPCHD leadership to execute yearly personal and programmatic goals. Close collaboration with the Department of Radiology and UT/UT Health colleagues is expected. Routine patient care includes outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, supervision of advanced practice providers, and hospital service. Live in Austin

Required: Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Cardiology and able to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License. Advanced fellowship training in Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT, and related imaging modalities. Preference for experience at higher-volume centers and demonstrated ability in advanced imaging. Preference for prior experience or education in medical administration and clinical research experience. Eligible for faculty appointment at The University of Texas at Austin.
