The Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California is seeking a full-time assistant or associate professor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology, specifically in the division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Responsibilities
Excellence in clinical and surgical skills; ability to lead and teach ambulatory patient care; lead and direct ambulatory care with familiarity of metrics and practice guidelines. Provide a wide spectrum of specialized services to maximize maternal and fetal well-being, including consultations, genetic counseling, diagnostic and therapeutic services for outpatient clinics and hospitalized patients with acute and chronic conditions. Collaborate with community referring Ob/Gyns across Los Angeles County; participate in teaching and mentoring residents, fellows and junior faculty. Engage in teaching, research or other specialty-related activities as appropriate for the level of training and experience. Qualifications
Board certified/board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a subspecialty in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Eligibility for licensure in the state of California. Evidence of teaching, research or other specialty-related accomplishments; clinical leadership and ambulatory care management experience. Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $350,000-$400,000. When extending an offer of employment, USC considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, applicable laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, and external market considerations. The position offers a competitive salary with excellent university benefits and an academic appointment at the Keck School of Medicine of USC appropriate to the level of training and experience.
