We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Cardiology. As a Locum MD in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients with cardiovascular conditions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse cardiology projects, contributing to the overall health and well-being of individuals in need of specialized medical care. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient consultations and medical examinations. Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results related to cardiovascular health. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with heart conditions. Perform cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, echocardiograms, and stress tests. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on heart disease prevention and management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients. Stay current with advancements in cardiology treatments and technologies. Requirements:
Medical degree with specialization in Cardiology. Valid state medical license and board certification in Cardiology. Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in patient care. Flexibility to adapt to different clinical settings and patient populations. Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate medical care. Schedule: 24-hour call shifts Setting: Inpatient Level II trauma Facility: 18 ICU beds, 18 tele beds, 10 CMU beds Daily Census: 3 consults, 2 procedures Procedures: TEEs, balloon pumps, coronary stems, IVs, IFR Support Staff: APPs Board certification required Paid travel & lodging
