Overview
Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking Emergency Veterinarians to join our team as Traveling Emergency Veterinarians. The Travel ER veterinarian role provides the flexibility and travel options of an independent relief veterinarian with the stability and benefits of a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency veterinary care as traveling ER veterinarians.
Manage shifts via the online scheduling platform, with priority access for Travel ER Veterinarians.
Collaborate with team managers on focus hospitals, regions, and shift types.
Qualifications
3 or more years of ER experience or ER internship-trained with 1–2 years of ER experience.
Specialty/Emergency experience strongly preferred.
Surgical experience/skills required.
Hours Of Work
Full-time position: minimum of 9 shifts per 4-week block to qualify for full-time benefits, PTO, and discretionary funds.
Part-time position: minimum of 3 shifts per 4 weeks; eligibility for partial benefits with travel coverage. Case-by-case basis for benefits with shift requirements below full-time threshold.
Scheduling The scheduling of shifts is managed through our online scheduling platform, Jobs Unleashed. Travel ER Veterinarians will have first pick of shifts and direct control of scheduling following guidelines set by the team manager.

Shift/Pro Model (above industry ER production %)
Typical earnings from $200,000 to $300,000+ annually
