Multi-strategy hedge fund seeks experienced Execution Trader to join their trading desk in New York. Responsibilities
The Execution Trader will trade a broad range of instruments (across the currencies and fixed income/rates product universe), in addition to working closely with portfolio managers, quants, research, technology and trading to continually drive efficiency, improvements and optimization of the Execution function. The Trader will also continually develop strong relationships with internal and external trading partners and counterparties. Qualifications
3-5+ years' experience in execution trading or risk-taking environment; Buy- or sell-side experience will be considered; Deep understanding of fixed income / rates and associated derivative products (bonds, bond futures, interest rate swaps, options, swaptions etc) required. Additional product coverage (ie: commodities, credit, equities, FX) welcome; Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and operational accuracy; Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills; Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (computer science, engineering, math, science or statistics) from a top-tier university; Master's degree; CFA preferred; This is a highly technical role and requires an advanced technical toolkit; programming experience in Python is a strong plus; Compensation
