The Firm is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join their Boston-based team. Candidates must possess excellent communication and analytical skills including strong proficiency in Excel modeling and Argus. Responsibilities include participating in modeling, origination, negotiation, and documentation of new acquisitions, as well as assisting in the refinement of investment strategy, financing process, and development analysis. Candidates must possess strong quantitative and critical thinking skills and have experience investing in commercial real estate; preferably will have worked in an institutional real estate environment. Primary responsibilities include supporting the team by preparing financial analysis and market research including: Responsibilities
Structure and build detailed financial models to support asset management activities, investment and debt decisions as well as development projects. Perform various lease analyses including comparative lease analysis and lease restructure analysis using Argus and Microsoft Excel. Review and evaluate investment offerings from investment sale brokers, developers and owners. Interact with property management personnel, tenants, and local government officials; ordering, coordinating, and analyzing third-party reports. Assist in investor and asset management reporting. Provide support for the acquisition, financing and disposition process. Monitor and maintain lease comps, historical transactions, and other market data. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; concentration in Business Administration, Finance and/or Accounting preferred. A minimum of 2-5 years of professional job experience, preferably in real estate and or finance and investments. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling and have Argus experience. Critical thinker with a strong work ethic. Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, across different markets, simultaneously with support from senior team members. Seniority level
