Overview

Position Title: Senior Graphic Designer JetBlue is seeking a bold, innovative, and strategic Senior Graphic Designer to join our in-house Creative Studio. In this role, you'll help shape how the brand connects with Customers and Crewmembers by delivering smart, high-impact design across digital, print, social, motion, and environmental platforms. You'll take projects from concept through execution, collaborating with copywriters, marketers, and partners to ensure design solutions align with storytelling and business needs while maintaining consistency with JetBlue's visual identity. Essential Responsibilities

Conceptualize and design "on-brand" visual assets for email campaigns, digital advertising, social media, print collateral, signage, merchandise, and JetBlue-owned platforms

Partner closely with copywriters, marketers, and fellow creatives to develop cohesive, breakthrough concepts

Help evolve and expand JetBlue's brand identity while ensuring visual consistency and excellence across all touchpoints

Provide art direction and mentorship to junior and mid-level designers, offering constructive feedback and fostering creative growth

Translate business and marketing objectives into visually compelling, customer-first design solutions

Oversee production-ready files, ensuring technical precision and quality across print, digital, and motion outputs

Drive creative exploration, staying ahead of design, cultural, and technology trends to keep the brand fresh and relevant

Manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously, delivering on time without compromising creativity or craft

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience

Three (3) years of professional design experience, preferably in an in-house creative team or agency

Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of digital and print work, with clear understanding of layout, color, typography, and brand design

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); familiarity with Figma or other digital design tools is a plus

Familiarity with motion design or animation tools is a plus

Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills

Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative creative team

Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)

Must pass a pre-employment drug test

Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

Five (5) years of professional design experience, preferably in an in-house creative team or agency

Experience working on lifestyle, travel, or consumer-facing brands

Strong illustration skills contributing original artwork, icons, or visual assets when needed

Familiarity with motion design or animation tools is a plus

Understanding of production processes for both digital and print media

Crewmember Expectations

Regular attendance and punctuality

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice

Able to maintain a professional appearance

When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun

Promote JetBlue's #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is between $66,000.00 and $103,100.00. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more
