Overview

Telecommunications Lead Installer – Level IV – Los Angeles, CA. Lead installer responsible for detailed installation, re-configuration/integration, removal, and maintenance of Central Office equipment including Transmission, Power, Infrastructure and Fiber systems with minimal supervision. Supervises assigned crew members and their performance. Candidates must live in the US. Responsibilities

Master all installation skills per Telco Standard TP76300 and perform duties of the Installer Level 4 as a Working Lead with assigned team members. Install and configure a wide range of systems including AC/DC Power, fiber systems, Central Office Infrastructure, and supervisory/alarm systems. Work with transport equipment (e.g., Ciena, Fujitsu, Cisco, Nortel, Nokia, DELL, Juniper). Apply fiber installation standards and procedures; read and follow Method of Procedures, order specifications, floor plans, wiring documentation. Ensure accuracy of all required documentation; interface with customers, vendors, and internal teams for testing and turn-up of equipment. Supervise lower-level Installers/Technicians in basic installation and testing; review time and expense documentation for accuracy and completeness. Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and administrative requirements; update installation documents as required. Resolve project issues using defined processes; generate MOPs, high-risk activity reports, work schedules, test records, and project completion reports. Perform in-process and final quality audits to ensure items meet industry and customer standards; coordinate with Installation, Engineering, and Project Management teams. Core Experience

Minimum 8+ years of installation experience or equivalent combination of experience and training; prior leadership experience required. AT&T direct Central Office Installation experience is a plus. High school diploma with two years of technical school or related training/experience in telecommunications field installations. Strong problem-solving skills, competent with written, oral, or diagram-based instructions; able to read and interpret technical documents. Proficient laptop/computer skills; familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams). Must have valid driver’s license; able to pass pre-employment background checks and be insurable. Valid passport a plus. Physical/Work Environment

Travel required within home region and the US; ability to work varied shifts and travel extensively. May travel internationally; expenses paid by employer. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb ladders, and crawl in tight spaces. OSHA compliance required. Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay Range: $68,000—$78,000 USD. A company vehicle, phone, laptop/tablet, and safety equipment are provided as required for the role.
