Responsibilities and scope: The Registrar is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately. Obtain and document complex demographic, insurance and medical information to secure appropriate patient account reimbursement. Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration Upon hire: National Certification of CHAA 3 years experience in Patient Access or a business office setting; experience with insurance eligibility systems 3 years experience using medical terminology; knowledge of medical billing codes 1 year knowledge of Epic applications Benefits
