The
Fiscal and Events Specialist
plays a key role in managing the Service Center\'s budget and events. This position handles all financial transactions, including vouchers, purchase orders, and expense reimbursements while also providing essential logistical support for meetings and events, including on-site management when needed. The Fiscal and Events Specialist will independently manage a portfolio of events, collaborating with faculty and staff across various centers and departments. Responsibilities will include arranging travel and hotel accommodations for speakers, coordinating with internal departments to select menus and event locations, and securing media and tech services. Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong organizational and prioritization skills, able to meet competing deadlines effectively, must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to providing superior customer service to diverse groups. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor\'s degree preferred 2 years of experience with fiscal activities Knowledge of event planning and program execution Experience with PeopleSoft Financials and Microsoft Office applications Compensation
Hiring Range: $27.47/hr to $34.34/hr. Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience. Benefits
