The Role The Senior Research Executive must be able to project-plan and implement qualitative and/or quantitative projects from project kick-off to final presentation, working as part of a research team. This individual should demonstrate an interest in the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge and experience in personally executing primary market research. Manages multiple qualitative and/or quantitative, US and international projects from project kick off to debrief. Specifically: Delivers high-quality research projects, in collaboration with a Project Leader. Responsibilities include, but not necessarily limited to: Prepares KO deck for and participates in the client KO call Confirms internal project plan with Operations and runs the internal KO meeting Liaises with appropriate internal functions (Operations, Finance), Project Team and client to ensure successful project management throughout Develops a project timeline and keeps internal team informed of project progress and changes Maintains productive and efficient communication with internal team and client Writes and delivers client-ready screeners, utilizing input from the team as appropriate Writes and delivers near client-ready discussion guides and questionnaires, utilizing input from the team as appropriate Contributes ideas on research approach and methodologies to meet the client's needs Briefs moderators, analysts and freelancers, ensuring they are set-up for successful execution Organizes and attends client-viewed and non-viewed fieldwork and resolves client related issues in a timely and satisfactory manner Moderates in-depth interviews with individuals, where appropriate Prepares an analysis template, analyses data (content analysis, transcripts, tables etc.) and synthesizes research findings Actively participates in and prepares for project brainstorm, contributing to insight generation Collaborates with Project Leader to write client-ready debriefs / reports (utilizing review and input from Project Consultant), with a clear story that addresses the client’s business challenge Participates in presentation and may present sections of final results to the client in collaboration with relevant members of the team, maintaining accountability for the content Is curious about how to connect the dots between the study, the business objective, the TA/market opportunity and the strategic implications from the research Encourages and contributes to the learning and development of REs on the Project Team Demonstrates basic knowledge of The Planning Shop methods and techniques Works closely with and appropriately leverages the skills and experience of TPS specialist experts in e.g., behavioural science, brand planning, Rare COE, Oncology COE, Quant COE Client Service and Business Growth Helps drive growth of the company through excellent client service and project delivery: Specifically: Contributes to high levels of client service and satisfaction on all projects, as part of Project Team When leading client communications, develops and maintains strong relationships with clients to bring in repeat business As part of an Account Team(s), demonstrates clear understanding of account plan, financial performance, and own role in achieving account targets Stays up to date on industry news relevant to projects, clients and accounts – shares information with Project Team, Account Team and /or at Pod Meetings as appropriate Demonstrates wider understanding of pod contribution target and plays role in achieving target Teamwork and Collaboration Thrives in a team environment and acts as a positive force for good in the company: Specifically: Works effectively within and across teams; adapting to and respecting the value each person brings Actively participates in and contributes to Pod Meetings Understands the intersection between the business need and people needs Has a growth mindset and regularly and proactively shares feedback to or invites feedback from individuals and their line managers General Manages own time efficiently and effectively, and has a recovery rate for project time spent that is in line with guidelines for job role What You’ll Need Minimum of 1 years’ experience conducting primary market research and commercial market research experience. Time spent with pharmaceutical focus a plus Good qualitative and/or quantitative research skills Strong communication and organizational skills General understanding of business operations and professional conduct Strong internal drive and sense of accountability and ownership Proactivity, enthusiasm, flexibility and resourcefulness Outgoing personality, creative, curious, collaborative, detail-oriented Why you’ll be successful at The Planning Shop You build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the US and the UK, particularly the Pod Leads, Pod Members and support functions (Compliance, Finance, Operations) You demonstrate a passion for research excellence and client service You’re a team player You represent our core values:

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
