We are Coupang, an American technology company and a fast-growing global retail leader focused on making shopping, eating, and living easier for customers. This role is based in our Washington, D.C. office and reports to the Head of Global Policy Communications. What You Will Do
Support development and execution of communications strategies that build Coupang’s reputation with government officials and stakeholders by advancing policy priorities. Support digital campaigns, including content creation, ad placement coordination, and measurement of results. Draft and post content for digital and social media platforms; support management of Coupang’s owned channels. Monitor media, social channels, and policy news for stories relevant to Coupang; provide regular insights to leadership. Help plan and execute events, briefings, and stakeholder engagements. Assist with coordination of external consultants, agencies, and vendors. Provide logistical and administrative support to ensure projects run smoothly. Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, storytelling, and ways to strengthen Coupang’s reputation. Basic Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in policy communications, public affairs, or related field. Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences. Experience with social media platforms and digital content creation. Prior experience supporting strategic multi-faceted advocacy campaigns with measurable results. Experience with event planning and logistics. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-moving environment. Comfort with data analysis to track communications performance. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A collaborative and proactive team player with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude. Curiosity and eagerness to learn new skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with global corporations and/or tech companies. Experience with digital advertising, sponsored content, and SEO. Graphic design and video editing skills. Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range: $114,000/yr - $212,000/yr. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market to $212,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Base pay is one part of total compensation, which may include bonuses, equity, or other forms of compensation.
