March
Overview
We’re hiring an Entry-Level Graphic Designer who can translate ideas into clean, usable visuals across product, brand, and marketing. We build and field-test practical autonomy and sensing systems using commercial off-the-shelf parts, and you’ll contribute visuals for two live programs: a semi-autonomous ground rover (ArduPilot-based) and a solar-powered water-quality station (Arduino-based). Responsibilities
Create brand assets (logos, icons, illustrations, style guides) that scale across web, mobile, and print. Design product visuals and UI-adjacent assets for narble and narby (feature graphics, in-app visuals, empty states, walkthroughs). Produce marketing collateral: LinkedIn carousels, one-pagers, pitch decks, motion snippets, and event materials. Own asset pipelines: export specs, naming/versioning, and delivery to product/engineering. Maintain and evolve design systems (color, type, spacing, components) in Figma. Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and founders to scope and ship high-impact visuals quickly. Incorporate feedback, run quick iterations, and document decisions. Qualifications
Must-haves Portfolio that demonstrates strong fundamentals in
typography, layout, color, and hierarchy . Proficiency with
Figma
and
Adobe Creative Cloud
(Illustrator, Photoshop; InDesign a plus). Ability to produce clean, production-ready assets (proper exports for web/mobile, accessibility awareness). Clear communication, high ownership, and reliable time management in a fast-moving environment. Nice-to-haves
(bonus, not required) Motion/animation (After Effects or similar) and simple micro-interactions/prototypes. Experience with social media graphics (LinkedIn/Twitter) and short-form video titling. Basic UI/UX understanding or collaboration with engineers (design-to-dev handoff). Print prep, photography, or light 3D (Blender/C4D). Education
BA/BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or comparable experience (projects, freelance, internships). Why join us
$25/hr , and/or CPT/OPT letter upon request; entry-level; consistent hours and remote-friendly. Real product impact—your work ships to users and appears in live launches and field demos. Tight feedback loops with founders, engineers, and product—grow your skills quickly. Defense-sector exposure
& referrals available for top performers. Build a portfolio across brand, product, and marketing that’s employer-ready. March is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. We consider applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class.
