Full-Time Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to manage and grow multiple social media pages for our nationwide home improvement shows. This role will focus on engaging with current and prospective exhibitors, attracting attendees, and expanding our online presence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and understands how to turn social media activity into real-world results and exhibitor engagement. Responsibilities

Manage and schedule daily content across multiple social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.). Maintain a strategic, rolling 30-day content calendar for each event market, balancing promotional, informative, and engaging content. Create and publish Facebook/Instagram pages and event pages for all new shows, ensuring branding is consistent and pages are fully operational. Collaborate with the creative team to develop graphics, reels, stories, and short videos for exhibitor spotlights, giveaways, and show promotions. Actively post and engage in relevant Facebook Groups to promote shows, drive vendor and attendee interest, and grow community visibility. Respond to comments, DMs, and vendor/exhibitor inquiries within 24 hours in a timely, professional manner. Facilitate partnerships with local influencers and venues to co-host events and expand show reach. Manage our "Social Media Shared Campaign" Coordinate and publish sponsor and giveaway posts within 2 business days. Track and report social media performance by: Exhibitor engagement, Page growth and campaign reach, Group activity and lead generation Post engagement, conversion metrics, and performance trends Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align social strategy with event goals and lead generation initiatives. Stay up to date with social trends, platform updates, and new tools to improve execution and reach. Use Asana and other tools to stay organized and accountable for tasks. Be available for phone calls with clients when needed to support promotional efforts. Identify and submit qualified vendor or sponsor leads discovered through social activity. This should not interfere with primary responsibilities. Requirements

2+ years of experience managing social media for multiple brands or locations (event or trade show experience a plus). Strong knowledge of social platforms, especially Facebook (including Groups), Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Truth Social, and LinkedIn. Experience using scheduling and reporting tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, or SproutSocial Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Working knowledge of Canva or Adobe Suite for basic graphic and video content creation. Comfortable engaging with users, answering questions, and representing the brand’s voice in online communities. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple pages, timelines, and campaigns at once. A self-starter who can work independently and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
