Concreteworks East, a leading manufacturer of architectural precast concrete, is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Production. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of our production process, ensuring seamless operations, high-quality standards, and strategic coordination among departments.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership : Oversee the entire production process, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. Department Coordination : Directly manage Project Management, Production Management, and all facility operations. Budget Management : Monitor budgets, allocate resources effectively, and maintain financial discipline. Process Improvement : Implement process enhancements to optimize production efficiency. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and quality control. Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to safety protocols throughout production. Staff Management : Lead hiring, training, and performance reviews for production staff. Performance Metrics : Ensure company key performance metrics are met and create KPIs for other teams. Lean Manufacturing : Use lean manufacturing principles to reduce breakdowns and waste while improving communication, organization, and planning. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 6+ years of experience in production/manufacturing management, preferably in architectural product manufacturing or fabrication. Strong strategic planning skills and ability to drive process improvements. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with ERP software, or dedicated inventory, quality control, and safety software.
