About The Role We’re looking for an exceptional government RFP response professional to join our team as a Proposal Manager. You will play a critical role responsible for leading cross-functional teams within the organization to create and gather necessary information, coordinate efforts, and ensure a successful RFP response for US and Canadian Government prospects and clients.

What You’ll Do

Develop and drive a response strategy that aligns with the commercial organization’s goals and objectives. This includes understanding the client’s needs and our fit, assessing the competition, and identifying our unique value proposition.

Lead cross-functional teams to gather the information and resources for on-time completion of each bid, ensuring cohesion and consistency in voice and messaging to prospective client.

Create detailed proposal plans that outline the timeline, milestones, responsibilities, and resources required, ensuring all aspects of the RFP are addressed in a compliant and systematic manner.

Write, edit, and review proposal content to ensure message is appropriate, clear, concise, and compelling to Government procurement teams. This involves drafting executive summaries, response sections, required forms, and other relevant information.

Organize and maintain a responsive repository of bid-related Q&A pairs, and documents including past proposals, templates, and attachments to facilitate efficient future bids.

Basic Qualifications

3+ years relevant experience preferred (2 years minimum sales proposal experience). Previous experience writing for Government bids or sales materials strongly preferred. Fleet experience a plus.

Prior experience with business and/or persuasive writing.

Project Management (basic skills): identifies key tasks and required deliverables, establishes timelines, engages others as appropriate, and manages status of work to ensure overall objectives are met. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and details simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment.

Written Communication: expresses ideas clearly in properly structured, well-organized, and grammatically correct documents.

Verbal Communication: understands audience needs; reads reactions and adjusts appropriately. Articulate; conveys information clearly and concisely.

Builds Strong Working Relationships: builds and maintains productive working relationships based on mutual trust at all levels in the organization.

Critical Thinking: analyzes data, identifies trends/issues, solicits input, and implements solutions quickly.

Collaboration and Partnering: leads by example to create an environment of collaboration; develops and maintains a network of internal resources across functions.

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

Education: College/University degree preferred.

Compensation The hiring base salary range for this position is $60,400 - $83,100 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. This range is for candidates hired to work within this geographic location. Roles in other locations will follow the pay range for that location.
